Call Volume History

Welcome to our new website which is part of many changes within our department.  We are proud to have a new building addition just completed on our firehouse.  With plans on new apparatus purchases hopefully on the horizon.  We are a department that prides it's self on being aggressive but safe.  We run automatic mutual aid with 2 of our neighboring departments on all possible structure fire's. our members run over 300 calls a year with 3 Engine's, 3 Tankers, 1 Heavy Rescue, 1 Brush unit, and 1 Command Vehicle out of one station located in the heart of Summit just outside Ashland, KY.

Ladder 5 made It home on Friday  March 5 , with FF'S training on it all day Friday and Saturday and Monday evening.. The FF'S are getting equipment mounted on the truck and getting It really to put in service.

Ladder 5 is almost complete members conducted the final inspection today and found the apparatus to be almost complete.  They will be finishing some minor details on the truck with delivery to take place on friday with three days of training to follow.

AT 21:20 got called to the 1800 block of Hood Creek Pike to assist Westwood FD on a fdire alarm sounding was canceled while in route. Eng 1 and TK 8 responded.

At 16:50 got called to the 4100 block of Killen Dr for a brush fire. Unit 9 responde and on arrival found some leaves burning in the ditch line unatended. FD put fire out and return to station.
