On the morning of May 8th our Chief Engineer Dave Isaacs passed away after a long battle with cancer. He began his career with us in mid 1975 as firefighter. He rose threw the ranks to fill the position of Chief Engineer and held the position until he stepped down due to medical problems. But even with medical problems he still responded to the station to assist in any way possible. From assisting us with refreshments on scene. To just providing his knowledge to members. His mechanical knowledge of trucks can never be replaced. But our firefighters and engineers will move on as he would have expected us to do keeping the tradition alive. Chief Engineer Isaacs will be carried to his final alarm Tuesday morning aboard Engine 2 with full firefighter honors.
